“The Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot, urges students to prioritise knowledge acquisition alongside education, emphasising that knowledge cannot be stolen and is a key factor in achieving success.”
“He Addressed the Students During the 7th Convocation of CMR University”
“Education plays a pivotal role in achieving success in life. It is a valuable asset that benefits individuals in every aspect of their lives. A person’s holistic development can only happen when they are educated. “Education provides us with technical knowledge and equips us with the ability to express our ideas effectively.” “It helps to hone our skills and achieve success in our chosen fields of interest.”
“Historically, our education system was renowned for its richness and vastness.” As a result, our country was considered Vishwaguru, and our economy was strong enough to earn us the title of the Golden Bird. To achieve this level of success once again, we need to make concerted efforts by channelling the skills, talent, and energy of our youth. The role of our young generation is crucial in this regard. With their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives, they can help drive the country towards a brighter future.
“As we approach the Golden Jubilee of our Independence, we have an invaluable opportunity to build a prosperous and developed India that can lead the world.” Over the next 25 years, it is our collective responsibility to seize this moment and work towards making our country a global leader. “Let us all join hands and become partners in transforming this period of duty into a golden opportunity for India’s growth and progress.”
“It is a fortuitous occurrence that India is currently presiding over the G-20 during this auspicious time.” Through this leadership role, India has a unique opportunity to enhance its global image and promote the message of unity among nations. With our vision of “One Earth, One Family,” we will strive towards a shared future where our country and the world as a whole can prosper together. “Let us move forward with this mantra and work towards a better tomorrow,” he added.
The Governor advised the students to actively participate in cultural programmes in addition to their academic and sports pursuits, as they can contribute to their physical and mental wellbeing.
Furthermore, he emphasised the urgent need for environmental protection and urged the students to make their own contributions towards this crucial cause. Let us all work together to safeguard our planet for generations to come.
